Many people have a balcony power station, but most of the solar power goes unused in the grid. An electricity storage system from BE COOL changes that. The BC-B2500B makes it possible to temporarily store the solar power generated during the day so that it can be used in the evening and morning hours. Any customer who already owns a mini solar system or a balcony power plant or would like to buy one is a potential customer for our BC-B2500B.
How does the BC-B2500B work?
During the day, the energy generated by the solar modules flows through the B2500B battery system via MC4 plug cables. The intelligent control system can control the discharge time to ensure that the energy flows through at the same time. From the battery storage system, the energy is fed back via MC4 plug cables to a standard micro-inverter, which converts the stored direct current into alternating current to supply your household appliances with electricity. The surplus or unused electricity is intelligently stored in the battery for use at night or over the weekend.
In addition, the BC-B2500B has a time control function that allows users to specifically control the power output (in watts). This enables optimised use of the stored energy, for example by increasing or decreasing the power output at certain times of the day, depending on individual requirements.
Another outstanding feature is the compatibility with a suitable SmartMeter, such as the one from Bluepalm (BP-SMCT001). This SmartMeter can be used to measure the household's base load. With this function, the BC-B2500B can adjust the energy feed precisely to the current consumption of the house. This ensures that energy efficiency is maximised by providing exactly the amount of electricity that is needed, enabling even more efficient use of solar resources.
Expandable up to 6720Wh
At night, the surplus energy stored in the BC-B2500B (2,240Wh) (expansion with 2x BC-P2500 units to 6,720Wh is possible) will continue to power most household appliances, from high-power appliances such as air conditioners and refrigerators to low-power devices such as Wi-Fi routers, lighting fixtures and laptops.
Compatibility
Thanks to the MC4 inputs and outputs, our battery storage system is compatible with all commercially available solar systems, power plants and all micro-inverters approved in Europe.
